Business Intelligence projects are increasing and gradually becoming a big trend in information systems. That is why an evaluation of the benefits should be addressed in all projects. This evaluation goes through the project development and should give companies strong material to feed decision processes. After developing/adopting a method to perform a robust evaluation we explored an inquiry that addresses the most important KPI’s. This inquiry with a substantial amount of different answers need something to align the final conclusion. For this we used the Delphi Method approach.

In more precise terms, our inquiry was developed using a Welphi platform. This platform made the job become much more easy for the final data analysis and to control successive rounds. We had reach 13 participants from an average company and the fact that we can send alerts in the middle of the round revealed very important to overcome the initial lack of answers from the participants.

At the end of the day the Welphi platform revealed to be a very good tool to bring the Delphi method from the paper to the real life.
